LABEOC Update – 10 April 2020

As of noon (12:00 PM) today, Louisiana has 19,253 diagnosed cases, 755 deaths and 2,054 patients hospitalized (479 requiring ventilators) associated with the outbreak. There have been 92,280 tests completed. All data is available at www.ldh.la.gov/coronavirus.

National Weather Service Weekend Outlook. Widespread thunderstorms are expected Saturday into Sunday. Large hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes will all be possible. Follow your local news channel or NWS for your part of the state.

FEMA Rumor Control page. No, FEMA is not seizing in-bound shipments of PPE. FEMA and CBP are working together to prevent fraud when PPE and medical supplies enter the United States from overseas.
