Earlier this year, the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division and Office of Private Sector released a suite of publications that provided an overview of threats posed by China and risks specific to corporations. This presentation will build upon these resources and will include case examples, tradecraft, potential vulnerabilities, threat indicators, and other recommended training materials. It will also discuss insider threats, cyberattacks on U.S. networks, joint ventures, non-traditional collectors, and front companies. In addition, our speaker will highlight China’s economic warfare strategy; its whole-of-government approach; how your company’s seemingly legitimate individual dealings with China businesses can be part of a more long-term, targeted threat; and suggested mitigation tactics.
